Pivot table in Excel created from view in OLAP shows not selectedresources

We use the OLAP TIMESHEET cube for reporting vacation.
Because we can´t add the RBS og custom enterprise field Line
Organisation, we have to select manually the resources we want to see
in a given extract.
We export the OLAP dato to EXCEL and saves the EXCEL sheet locally.
The we open the EXCEL sheet (PIVOT TABLE) and update the data using
the ODBC connection that is automatically created when "Automatic
updated" is selected.
Resources that were not selected then appear on the list
e.g

Andreas Willadsen Ferie
Anupama Mankame Ferie

Andreas was selected when the view was created but Anupama was not.

We use PS 2007, AUG CU
Anyone seen this??

The fact that Microsoft have not added the RBS to the Timesheet cube baffles
me, because you can't exactly rely on what MSP produce as so many things can
go wrong, especially around hammock tasks etc. and when you have hundreds of
projectcs in the system, and spooler errors coming and going the data is not
always in synch with timesheet data, and you don't want to force the synch as
this could create more problems, so you rather want to rely on the data that
comes from the Team Member.

What I do is create my reports directly from excel and conduct my filtering
for resources in excel. I then save this report and access it every time by
refreshing it and it keeps all my filter selections. We have also developed
a custom report for this purpose. Not answering your question, but perhaps
another way to do it. Also take into consideration that if you see a
resource in the drop down list but they don't appear in the report they have
probably not booked any time.

I hope that Microsoft will add the RBS to the timesheet cube before they
even think of releasing Project 14.
