Pivot table in forms

I made a form in access with the pivot table wizard. The form looks and
works great and I "data refresh" to change the pivot table with the drop
downs. Problem is, after a few tries and I exit and go back in to the
form/pivot table the "refresh" button is not highlighted for me.
