I don't know if this is the correct location for this post, but here goes:
I have been fortunate enough to assume responsibility for a large pivot
table that pulls from an Access Database that gets it's data from (among
other places) a SQL View. The SQL view takes two and a half minutes to
execute. This was posing a problem in Access with a timeout issuses while
trying to pull the data into a linked table. I resolved this issue by
creating a Pass-through query and bumping up the timeout wait period. I am
now having a problem getting the data to pull into the Pivot Table for the
same Timeout error.
Is there a way to increase the timeout period on a pivot table query in
Excel? Am I going about this the wrong way?
