Pivot Table toolbar

Every time I edit a pivot table (Excel 2000)the toolbar
launches itself and I have to then re-anchor it manually -
this is very irritating!

Is there any way to stop this happening?

I use Excel97 but it may be the same. You can have the toolbar on all the
time, positioned where you want it alongside or below others such as
standard and formatting. Then it won't need to launch when you go into a
pivot table.

In Excel 2000, the PivotTable toolbar moves out of place any time you
use the PivotTable wizard, but seems to stay put if you use other
commands or buttons.

There's no way to permanently dock it, AFAIK. However, if you
double-click the toolbar's title bar, it re-docks in its previous position.

This has been corrected in Excel 2002.
