I am assisting a customer who is using Access 2002 on a
Windows XP system. He is trying to use the pivot table
view feature to view tables. I am using the Northwind DB
and this works fine on my system. He is using a DB he
created and has issues adding/removing fields from the
pivot table view. We can get the view to come up, but
sometimes he cannot add fields to the view. Most of the
fields and options are grayed out. The fields he
can get to add it seems we cannot remove, I try to right
click on the fields to remove like I can on the Northwind
DB and all his options are grayed out. Is there some
criteria that needs to be met for him to add/remove fields
from this view properly?
