Same as in a worksheet:
Tools > Options > View tab, uncheck "Zero values".

on the sheet where you Pivot Table appears choose
Tools=>Options=>General and remove the tick from Zero values

Hi Roger and Paul,
Guess i worded it incorrectly... if value off all fields in the data
section is zero i would like the entire row to be eliminated.

Using the drop down arrow for the item selected as the row variable,
de-select the value that gives rise to the zero results.
