PIvot Table

Can someone help. I have some pivot tables that I am
using. I am grabbing the data from a form (where the user
will enter the information". For some reason the pivot
table cannot be updated beyond this point. Can you only
create a pivot table with a query that is static? Thanks.

Matt, by "Pivot Table" do you mean "Crosstab Query?" A crosstab query
datasheet cannot be updated; only the underlying data (=what the user enters
into the form) can be.

DDM - Thanks for the response. Under forms you can create
a Pivot Table - I don't believe they are the same thing.

Ooops, my mistake Matt. You're right; pivot table form. But my answer's the
same. You can redo the layout of the pivot table, but you can't update the
data here. You can only update the underlying tble or query, then refresh
the pivot table.
