Pivot Tables - change flat file data from the pivot table

It's easy to see data anomolies from the pivot but
difficult to find them again in the flat file. Does
anyone know if it's possible to change the underlying FF
data while in the pivot table? Please email response to
me directly.

Have you tried double clicking the cell where the anomaly is, as this will
create another sheet showing you the affected records. This is as long as you
have 'Enable Drill to Details' checked in the table options.

Doesn't work. Only option I have is "Enable Drilldown"
which is checked. Double clicking on the cell just
toggles the display of the details in the pivot. I want
to change data within a cell in the pivot and have that
change reflected in the flat file.

I'm using Excel 2000
