Pivot Tables - Drop Zones are Missing

I am trying to create Pivot Tables in several of my Access Databases.
I am unable to see the necessary Drop Zones, however, and many of the
functions are greyed-out. The Pivot Charts, however, work as normal.

Does anyone know what is wrong?

I am using Access 2002 on a Windows XP Professional machine.
