Hi
I have a number of spreadsheets that hold data from figures I enter and
figures obtained from an OLAP cube that is held on a seperate server (the
figures come from Microsoft Project Plans). The pivot table is filtered on
the project name. I can make the pivot table automatically update with no
problem - what I want to know is how to stop it automatically selecting new
projects as they are added to OLAP cube and to make it only select the
orginal project from the drop down list.
For example I have selected a plan with the title 518 and a few days later
on the OLAP cube a plan is added with the title 85366 and I go to the sheet
of 518 and refresh the data on the pivot table to take the latest figures it
will show me 518 but will also show me 85366 which I then to deselect to get
just the figures I want.
How can I stop this
