Pivot Tbl Chart formatting

Anyone know why when I build a user defined pivot tbl
chart all the data in the second chart matches the data
in the first even though I selected different data?
Thanks in advance for the help.

The most reliable solution is probably a programmatic approach. Select
a PivotChart (PC) that hasn't been custom formatted. Turn on the macro
recorder (Tools | Macro > Record new macro...), go through the
formatting changes, and turn off the recorder.

Now, whenever you create a new PC, select it and run the macro created
above.
