Pivot toolbar grayed out access 2002

My other problem was incorrect stated. The real problem
is that most all of the pivot table toolbar is unclickable
and grayed out.

I suspect the two are directly related but I am unable to
set properties or show/hide the drop zones as a result. I
can drag and drop fields to the area but it appears they
all go into the 'data field' area.

Still unable to resolve. Suspect something to do with
installation or a defect in the code.

Solved. I found it a big fat bug. Applying SP1 for Office
fixed it.
