PivotTable Drop Areas

When attempting to create a pivottable, I cannot view all
drop areas/zones. The filter, row and column area are
missing and I can apparently only view the detail area.
What do I need to do to view all drop areas?

You can turn on/off the drop zones in the Properties
diaglog box. Why in the world you would want to turn
them off and not be able to use Pivot Tables is beyond
me. Maybe someone from MS would explain the logic of
that.
