Pivottable Field List window is freezing?

Hi All-

I have a fresh install of Excell 2003 on my machine, which ran Excel 2003
just fine in the past. (Corporate had to re-image me because of another
problem, but that's another story!)

Here's my problem. When I am in a pivot table and pop up the PivotTable
Field List, the Field List isn't working correctly.

I can't resize the list - but yet the handles will appear at the corners!
It just doesn't let me actually do the resizing.

Also, typically when in the field list display box, typing the first
character of a field name will pop you down to that field. On my machine
though, I Just get a beep when I type a character.

Any ideas? My hardware didn't change. All that's happened is a complete
re-install of fresh XP (updated with all updates) and fresh office 2003 (with
all service updates)
