PivotTable Problems

Updated Office from 2000 to XP and experiencing
difficulties with PivotTables. When create a PivotTable
using wizard the PivotTable View opens and can drag and
drop no problem. Under Form view the data is presented as
a form, not as a subform with the Edit PivotTable Object
Button.

Is this a problem with the program or is there another
way to create PivotTables that allows me to
update/refresh data in Excel and link the data to another
Excel spreadsheet?
