pjgrid11.ocx error closes browser on opening resource avail graph

In the last 2 days I started getting an ActiveX error on the pjgrid11.ocx
file with a description of MS Project 2003 Service Pack 1. The error shuts
down my web browser and won't let me view the resource availability graph in
PWA. How do I fix this?

Michelle:

Did you enable the discussions bar in Internet Explorer? That could cause
this to happen suddenly. Otherwise, you might try clearing your browser
history and cookies and see if that helps.

The discussions bar remains disabled.

I tried clearing my cookies, temporary internet files & my history. I'm
still having the problem.

I logged into another user's machine as myself & had the same problem. The
other user logged into their machine as themselves & did not have the
problem. So, it seems to me like it must somehow be profile or account
specific rather than specific to my computer or to the server itself.

Do you have any other ideas?

Michelle:

You might try resetting your password, or dropping your account from the
domain and adding it back. You're correct in thinking that it's your
account, if the problem follows you from machine to machine.

I deleted myself as resource and then added myself again. I no longer got
the error after doing that.
