Please help me on this :
1. Can we do the same thing as we do when approving tasks in updates menu?
In menu Updates, when user click the Update button, Project Professional will
be automatically opened, then save and publish task will be automatically
triggered from the PWA also. I see the code at tasktransactions.asp use
PJUpdate.ocx to do this. But I don't fully understand what this component do?
It seems it just call PjUpdate.UpdateTransactions(..), and then Project Pro
will be automatically opened, saved, and published for the corresponding
project.
What I want to do is open the project in project pro, and then saved and
published for certain project that I can specify. I have tried to use
PjOpenFile, we can specify which Project we want to open, but cannot trigger
the save and publish function. Any documentation for this PjUpdate or
PjOpenFile, or other idea to do this task?
2. How to send notification to Project Manager or any user if someone has
just linked documents, risks, or issues to project??
