Placement of graphics on Word page

I write family and other stories and illustrate them copiously. I have a
preference for placement of images relative to text. In Word 2003 I could
choose "In front of text" on the options page and that would be my default in
all Word documents. I have a new computer now running Office 2007. I have
not found a way to default this positioning in 2007, but must choose it for
each new picture, clip art, or other graphic. Is there a way to make this
preference a default?

Oops--sorry all, I just found the answer to my own question by more or less
following the sequence of commands from Word 2003 while in Word 2007. Office
button>Word options>Advanced>Cut, copy and paste finally brought me back to
the "Insert paste pictures as" drop-down menu where I could choose my default
setting. I hope this helps others.

The setting is the same, it's just a bit more well hidden:)

Click the Office Button, then click the Word Options button (or you can
click the triangle at the right end of the Quick Access Toolbar & select
More Commands). In the Advanced category, under Cut,Copy & Paste is where
you'll find the familiar setting.
