Placing an Insertion Point in a Location with a Word XP Template

We created a Word 2002 (XP) Template. The template only has a text
box that contains the Firm's letterhead. When we create a document
from the template by choosing, File, New, and selecting the template,
the insertion point stays at the top of the document. We have to
click down below the text box to move the insertion point to the
location where the staff can begin typing. They can obviously do this
but it is just a frustration.

Can anyone help?

If you created a header instead of a textbox, then the insertion point would
start at the first "printable" location on the page. I assume you've done
this because you want the letterhead only on the first sheet. You can still
do this by setting the page property to have different header and footer on
the first page and the remaining pages.

There's another way as well. You can write an autostart macro that
positions the insertion point at the end of the file. This would correspond
to the end of your text box, I think.
