The article describes several ways of getting PDF content into PPT, each of
which has a different result. Generally, the simplest is to get a bitmap
image of an individual PDF page into your PPT presentation. For this you
need no special tools, just PowerPoint, Acrobat Reader and your PDF file.

Adobe's gone and moved all the furniture around in Acrobat/Reader version 6
so some of the instrux on that page may not help if you have that version.

Fill me in ... what version of Acrobat or reader do you have and what do you
need to end up with in the PPT? A picture of the PDF page or something
else?

I calmed down and actually _read_ the article. At the first glance I
must have read it thinking that I already knew the content.
- I newer copy - paste graphics but creates it in (about) he right size
and then insert from file, this is impossible with a pdf file.
But the copy - paste proposal works great in this context.

I have Acrobat Pro 5 and 6, but I still haven't got Office X.
But it works just fine, and now I know that one can actually do other
things with pdf's in PP too - at least on pc, my Mac cannot deal with
the .exe files from:

:) Thank you Steve

Nope ... those are all Windows installer applications that install various
tools for Windows versions of PowerPoint. In any case, only one of them
really has anything to do with PDF, and that's an addin that makes it easier
to create PDFs *from* Powerpoint.

Of course, with Virtual PC, you could run Windows and Office on your Mac,
and ....

Nah. I wouldn't either.
:) Thank you Steve

Most welcome, Nina.
