placing photo's in publiser

I have inserted digital photo's into my magazine creadted within publisher.
Hoever, at commercial printers they come out in black and white?? Is it
better to save file as publisher and create pdf or as a postscript file or
what is encapsulated postscript??

Look at the commercial printing under tools.
Most printers will accept PDF files.
