At the end of one sentence press the return key to create a new paragraph...
Assuming the first sentence was typed beginning at the left margin the next
paragraph will start at the same position. There's no need to 'click' to
create a new paragraph.
Words are not objects which you can simply plop down anywhere on the
document. The white area you see on screen merely represents a sheet of
paper ‹ there are no pages in the structure of a Word document. Regular text
flows from left to right, top to bottom. That flow is adjusted & controlled
by the use of the return key, tabs & indentation plus a number of other
editing techniques.
There are variations that can be introduced, such as Text Boxes, WordArt
objects & other shapes that contain text. They can be positioned, but if you
don't understand the basic operation of the program they can be extremely
difficult to control ‹ even for experienced users. Those objects shouldn't
be used for the main content of the document in the first place.
Also, there is a feature called Click and Type which enables you to
double-click in any blank part of the 'page' (within the margins) in order
to start typing there. It automatically generates the necessary
returns/tabs/indents but is a rather clunky convenience feature not
recommended for producing stable, quality documents.
No insult intended, but it sounds like you may be new to Word & word
processing software in general. If my hunch is correct you would do well to
spend some time in the Word Help files becoming familiar with the use of the
program. Go to Help> Word Help then click the link entitled "Learning
Roadmap for Word". You'll find a list of videos & online tutorials.
