Placing WingDings on a chart

Pierre

Petr,
Pity you joined the previous thread a a very late stage but since you
asked what my primary intensions are here it is:

Firtsly I place an Architectural drawing on a Worksheet and measure
the ares of rooms by clicking on the corners of the rooms (or nodes )
Thanks to Rick Rothstein's assistance I.ve managed to accomplish this
Second problem was to place a WingDing on the spots where I clicked as
a reminder in the event the phone rings or nature calls. This proved
to be way above my VBA capabilities but with Peter T's patience and
assistance this was also accomplished.
Your reccomendations regarding the latter problem would certainly be
appreciated.
Regards,
Pierre

Pierre,
I take it. Sorry for one day's delay for I am busy now. I will notice you in
this thread.

Pierre,

Due to my delay, I started another thread that you can read on:

http://www.microsoft.com/communitie...&p=1&tid=ae85a1e7-d056-4930-ac83-4be4ebb35d40

BTW, I have another temptation to you. Provided that your picture has no
other shapes (as it is usually plain .bmp or .pdf file copy), you can draw
abscissas over all measured objects (the diagonals in case of your
rectangular rooms) on the simply copied picture, and the macro can at once
evaluate all their end points. My version should be modified in your case, as
I count only the lengths.

Glad to have met you
