Plan menu gone?

I created 50 planograms using Visio 2002, but now I would like to link the
data to excel to I can update data from Excel to Visio.
Problem is that the Plan menu is not there when I open the planogram file. I
did not start out using the Plan templete that does have the Plan menuu, is
there any way to get this menu? Or can I convert it?
