Hello,
What kind of reporting is available in PWA for Planned vs. Actual hrs? Is
there anything new in Project Server 2010 compared to Project Server 2007?

Sorry if similar posts have been made earlier, i did a quick search and
couldn't find it.

Thanks,
ashir

Pretty much the same reporting is available in 2010 as in 2007, with the
exception that you are encouraged to use things like Visio & Excel Services
instead of Data Analysis more.

So, in a nutshell, you get:

1) Nontimephased views in PWA + some timephased data in the Resource Center
views
2) Timephased data in OLAP cubes that can be surfaced into various reports.

Does that answer your question? What are you looking for specifically?

Hi Ashir,

Planned gets overwritten by actual when work is performed, so what you
really need to track is baseline work vs actual work. This may need some
changes to your process to take baselines :)

Regards, Ben.
