I'm trying to set up Project Pro 2003, Project Server 2003 and Outlook 2003
The integration from Project to Outlook is working fine, but when i plan my projects it dosn't handel if a resource i booked in the outlook calendar for another non-project related task
This is not vacation, other tasks like a sales or customer meeting e.g

Is there any posibillty that project can handle this ??

Thanks
Jesper

The only way the system can manage tasks is if they're created in project
plans. There's no mechanism available for examining Outllook-spawned tasks
and appointments. If you wrote one, you'd likley have a marketable addin!

Gary,
I don't want them as tasks. I just want the time booked i my Project caledar for the resource !

You're mistaken if you think that it worked that way in 2002. It simply
didn't and doesn't in the new version. When Outlook tasks are shown in the
timesheet, they have absolutely no effect on the system other than providing
a convenience for the resource.
