Alvin, an MS .NET MVP, asked in January if the OWC has a future or not.
There was no reply offered, which is a statement in itself of course.
However I'd like to ask again - is the OWC a dead technology? It would
seem so from the dismal support and lack of enhancements over the last
several versions of the OWC. But some word from behind the Iron Curtain
at Microsoft would be of more interest than simple deduction.
