plaxo downloads and outlook ME version

my first question is has anyone sucessfully exported their
contacts from plaxo into outlook?

#2 i have the express version of outlook from the ME. If
I buy the 2002 outlook edition, will this afffect my
system after an install?

#1 - never used Plaxo. If you can export to a CSV, you
should be able to import it into Outlook, but you'll have
to map the fields, and Outlook may not have a 1 to 1
mapping of the fields in Plaxo.
#2 - When you install Outlook it should ask you if you
want to import the data from Outlook Express and if you
want it to be your default mail client.

OE and OL can coexist, but use one not both for mail, and ensure you have
set yr default mail client in Internet Options
