I have created a PowerPoint slide show and have inserted music - Insert
movies and sound - play CD audio track (these are .cda files). If I put in
the CD - the show plays just fine - with sound - 8 seconds between slides
and the music stops after 66 of 68 slides so that I can sho two short movie
clips. I would like to have this all on one CD rather than two. This would
also allow me to play the slide show directly from the CD rather than copying
it to a desktop and then inserting the CD with the music.
Question 1 - I have copied the music CD files (.cda) to the the same CD that
houses the PowerPoint slide show (.pps) and the pictures (.jpg) used in the
PowerPoint (.ppt) itself. When I try to view the the slide show there is no
music. If, on the other hand, I open the .ppt or .pps from my desktop and
have the music CD inserted in the drive - all is well. Is there any way to
copy the .cda music files to the same CD that contains the .pps and .ppt and
have it function?
Question 2 - I have a slide transition advance set to automatically after 8
seconds. After 66 of the 68 slides have been viewed - I would like the
transition to stop so that I can click on and view the short movies (.mpg).
Is there an easy way to get this done - or do I need to individually apply
the 8 second advance to each of the first 66 slides individually?
