Playing a song thru an entire slideshow continuously?

I have been trying and trying to get a song to play continuously
throughout my slideshow and it wont work. I need to to play
continuously and also change the slide automatically every few seconds
or so.

I've changed the show to transition automatically and everything and it
wont change the slide and play the song at the same time.

I would appricate it if anyone has any ideas. I'm doing a slide show
for a wedding and I'm getting frustrated.
