Playing background music in webpage

Please someone,
How do I get my music to play/loop in webpages I'm
creating in publisher2000. I have followed all
instructions and even tried using the wizard but nowt!
Could it be because I'm currently using a RealOne player
as my default?
I've also tried copying/remaning to just about all file
extensions I can think of, but nothing doing!

Can someone please help?

First put the wav or midi file in the folder where you keep your web page
files.
Then,
Open you web page pub file,
select File, Web Properties, Page tab, in the Background sound box either
write or browse to the location of your wav or midi file and OK.
Save as a web page, upload and visit the site and listen to the music.
