Playing Flash in Powerpoint

Greetings all,

I'm new to this newsgroup and I hope you can help.

I developed a Powerpoint presentation on a desktop computer and now I am
trying to play the presentation on a laptop. Both Shcokwave and the Flash
player are installed.

I inserted the swf files into Powerpoint with a program that provides an
option in the INSERT menu that says "Flash Movie" Unfortunately I have
forgotten where I downloaded it (? possibly from Shyam's site when it was a
free option before toolbox.)

Now when I try to open the Powerpoint file on the laptop (that does not have
that option in the Insert menu) I get an error message that states that some
controls have not been installed and all functions may not work. All
functions except the Flash movies work perfectly -

Can anyone help?

I forgot to mention that I burned a DVD from the desktop to transfer the
program to the laptop - put everything in the same directories including all
the swf files.

I think Larry you are referring to the freeware plug-in called swiff
player from www.globfx.com

Hi Larry,

Simplest thing might be to re-embed the flash movies into the laptop
presentation using one of these recipes:
