Playing movie clip across multiple slides

This may be an impossible question, but is there a way to have a movie clip
(with an audio track) play across multiple slides? In other words. I created
a clip that has an audio track that plays a little longer than the motion
part of the clip. What I'd like to do is bring in a photo while the last bit
of audio is playing. I know I can create a video with the desired image file
added, but Producer doesn't allow me to add text, which is necessary. I need
to use Producer (over Roxio 7) because Roxio seems to cause a brief flash of
the beginning of my videos when they have completed playing.

Yes you can....with a tip from Troy recently:

If using PPT 2003, insert the movie, position and set it to playback as
usual. Then double click the play setting and go to the EFFECT tab. In the
'STOP PLAYING' section put a number in the 'AFTER ___ SLIDES.' Now develop
your additional slides, making sure no content is in the area where the
video will be playing. Done.

And check out the sample he made...
