Playing sound clip throughout automated slide show

I have embedded a sound clip that I would like play throughout an automated
slide show. The length of the clip is longer than the transition timings
I've set for each slide (4 minute clip vs. 5 second slide transition.)
Result: the first slide won't advance until the entire sound clip has played.
Is there a setting that will allow the slide transitions to advance while
the sound clip plays?

In Custom Animation, select the audio clip animation. In the drop down menu
select Effect Options, then set the clip to Stop Playing after ___# of slides
(the number of slides in your pres)

Thank you. That solved the problem. However, I now have another problem.
My slide show is looped, but the length of the slide show and the length of
the sound clip do not match. When the slide show restarts, it automatically
restarts the sound clip. This causes the sound clip to abruptly cut off and
start replaying. Is it possible to loop the sound clip and the slide show
idependent from each other, or would it be easier to simply lengthen my slide
show to coincide with the length of the sound clip?
