playing sound

I am using ppt 2007. I am editing audio for a ppt and have re-embedded it.
I have upped my sound file size limit and my system says the file is
embedded. I do a save as to an older version of ppt (2003). The audio file
does not work in 2003. I have tested it with a PC that has 2003 to verify it
doesn't work. This test system does have the conversion added. Any ideas?

What is the file type your trying to embed? The only files that get embedded
in any version of PowerPoint are .WAV files.
