Sorry for the blasphemy, but as a non outlook user - I am having trouble
getting interconnection between onenote and firefox related webapps(gmail,
tasks apps or the address bar). As mentioned earlier, no solutions found, so
far, for:
1) deep linking into gmail from ON:
ON will only resolve to the gmail inbox, when you hit a url that should
take you to a specific gmail message or search. like
http://mail.google.com/mail/#search/hello - note from the winxp desktop or
fromt he browser the url does deep link, just note from within ON. I note
that testing this in Evernote and it works fine! But ON is better than EN, so
would like to find a fix.
2) deep linking into ON from any firefox webapp or FF address bar:
using the URL from ON's 'Copy HyberLink to the Paragraph' from within a
firefox page/app ( on WinXP) or in the browser FF address bar only open or
creates focus on the current or default ON page, it does not deep link you to
the specific paragraph. In IE, the same URL gets you to the exact paragraph
in ON. Have been searching FF forums for some solution but known found yet.
