Pleas help!! Error: -3259

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: imap

Up until now, my e-mail has been fine. However I have just moved into a new house, with a different internet provider etc. and I can no longer send mail! I can receive fine, just not send!

When trying to send I get:
"An operation on the server timed out. The server may be down, overloaded, or there may be too much net traffic.

Error: -3259"

If anyone is able to offer assistance I would be eternally grateful!

Are you still using the old SMTP or are you using the SMTP of the new
ISP??

Well it could also simply be that the server is too busy as the message
states.
