For someone who knows more about Excel than I do.

I am trying to create a chart with both supply and demand curves on
it.

Price on the vertical axis, and quantity on the horizontal axis.

No matter what I do, I can't get price on the vertical axis, and
display both quantity series on the chart.

please help!!!!

Put your data into four columns (L-R):

Quantity-Supply
Price-Supply
Quantity-Demand
Price-Demand

Select the Supply range, and make an XY Scatter chart. Select and copy
the Demand range (Q & P), select the chart, and select Paste Special
from the Edit menu, and choose the New Series, X Values (Categories) in
First Column options.

If the Price data is the same for both, put the two quantity columns
first, then the price (X values should be to the left of the Y in the
worksheet). Select a discontiguous range for either step in the first
paragraph by selecting one region, then holding Ctrl while selecting
other regions.
