Please allow assigning shortcut keys for symbols in OneNote

Law Student

I am a law student and we use the "Section" symbol: § a lot, but OneNote
won't allow me to assign a shortcut for it. In Word I was able to insert the
Section symbol by hitting Ctrl + 0.

Very annoying to go through opening Insert, Symbol, finding the Symbol and
then hitting insert or trying to copy and paste it each time.

Please change this.

Thanks.

You can change this yourself. Open Word, then your AutoCorrect Options.
Set up an acronym for your section character. Like sec. Close Word

Now in OneNote, whenever you type sec, you will get your section character.
