Please allow us to sync two copies of outlook. Why's this so hard?

We all have a desktop and a laptop so this feature would be extremely useful.

Outlook was designed for corporate use where backup and restore systems are everywhere as well as a mail server that allows for synching. Contrary to your opinion, *everyone* does not have a laptop and desktop.

As for your suggestion, Microsoft has been lobbied for years to make a simple 2 way synch available to those who don't have a server solution in place. I tend to doubt they have this high on their "fix" list.
