It would be impossible to do this due to the number of
fonts available in the world for people to install and use
in any software. Programs such as word, outlook,
wordperfect also have these problems for the same reason.
As a workaround for your problem you could,
a)Use java script to kick off a download to install the
font.
b)Put a hyperlink on the page to install the font.
Both of these is copywrite permitting of cause.
c)Also please note that its not just microsoft that have
this problem. All computers have it, when mac's use the
internet most of their fonts are the nearest and not the
same as the fonts used on windows machines that designed
the pages. You can specify more than one font to cover
this so that machines running windows load one font and
mac's load another font that you specify. Example of html
code;
<FONT color=#BFBFFF size=4 face="verdana, arial,
helvetica">Website Name</FONT>
