PLEASE HELP! Can't open two documents I just edited and closed....

I get this message when I try to open these documents (I just spent all day
revising them): "The document name or path is not valid. Try these
sugessionts. *Check the file permissions for the document or drive. *Use the
File Open dialog box to locate the document (C:\Annual Report etc.)."

I tried the second suggestion with no luck. I looked at the permissions but
everything is grayed out (I have administrator status).

I'm using Word 2000 9.0.3821 SR-1 and Windows 2000.

If you are running Norton AntiVirus, disable its Office Plug-in.

Try to take ownership of the file using the administrator account.
Also, try copying them to a disk and opening them on another computer.
