Hello,
I opened over 24 Word files. One of them was over 1Mb in size. Perhaps
that was what caused the problem that I am currently experiencing.
For some [but not all] files, when I click the Save button, on the Word
toolbar, I get a message that Word can't save the document under the same
name as a file that is currently open. It then askes me to choose a
different name. I save the file under a different name, but when I try to
open the new file, it is an empty file.
For other files, I don't get any error messages, but when I reopen them, I
discover that the changes that I made were not saved. However, when I save a
Version of one of these documents, it saves everything. For some files, the
option "versions" is grayed out/unavailable on the File menu.
I have the latest versions of Norton Antivirus, a firewall, Microsoft
Antispyware, etc - they are not picking up anything.
Is there anything I can try doing to fix my system?
Thank you!!
