Please help - Can't upgrade or uninstall Office XP Professional

I can't uninstall Office XP Professional. During the process it stops
with the following error:

"Error 1326. Error getting file security: C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\GetLastError: 5"

I actually first got a version of this error while trying to upgrade
to Office 2003, so I decided to uninstall Office XP. I can't upgrade
or uninstall Office 2003. I can't find anything on "Error 1326" and
"Office 2003." Uninstalling in safe mode doesn't work. I've also
tried turning off Norton.

Any assistance is appreciated!

I ran the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility and that resolved th
problem. Thanks Mary
