please help - deleting appointments

how do i get the calendar to keep appointments once the
date has passed? it automatically deletes the
appointments once the date has passed, and i therefore
can't refer back to previous notations/appointments.

Check your view settings -- there may be a filter hiding older items.
If you switch to By Category, which is unfiltered by default, you should
see all the items there -- and if they're there, they haven't been
deleted.
