Please Help.... desperate

I have been trying to figure this out for hours, and no luck.

I have a table of numbers under five different headings.

The numbers in each column are unique. IE, any of the numbers only
exist in one column, not two.

Depending on the value in a cell which is hand entered, I need a
formula to return the column heading where that unique number is
found.

Any suggestions?

Hi
to get the column number use the following array entered
(CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER) formula:
=MAX(IF(A2:E999=number,COLUMN(A1:E999),0))
to get the heading use
=INDEX(A1:E1,1,MAX(IF(A2:E999=number,COLUMN(A1:E999),0)))
also array entered
