In the contact form there are some standard immages or icons. Like a
telephone and a house and a person.

Now I like to place a new image or icon into a new to design form. I use the
Control Toolbox and click on Image. I want to have an icon into my form which
I downloaded from MS icons. How can I do this? I rightclick on the image but
can't customize neither load the icon safed. What do I do wrong?

Sorry for my English, I am A Dutchman living in France.

Thank you for your help onthis subject,
Wouter

In form design mode, right-click the control, and then choose Advanced
Properties. Select the Picture property, and then its browse (...) button to
display the Load Picture dialog, in which you can search for the .ico file
you want to display in that control.

I think I did what you want me to do but without success. I can't get the
..ico loaded. What might be the problem or what do I do wrong?

I would suggest that you try again and take notes on what you see, especially
if what you see is different from what I've described.

I have tried to follow your suggestion still without success. This is what I
did:

In form design mode (I went into the form design mode), right-click the
control (in the Toolbox Controls I right clicked Image and placed a square on
a free part of the desing and then right clicked on the square and then I
chose Advanced Properies), and then choose Advanced Properties. Select the
Picture property, and then its browse (...) button to display the Load
Picture dialog, in which you can search for the .ico file you want to display
in that control. (I selected the Picture property and browsed for the Icon
which I placed on my desk top and has a file name: doctor and Files of type:
Icons(*.Ico;*.Cur) then I click Open and nothing happens).

I am sure I did something wrong. I tried the same thing and did not use the
Toolbox Controls but clicked on a free part of the design. Again without
success. I tried to find “the control†but there is nothing with this name.

Thanks for helping me out after all these hours of trying.

That sounds like the right steps. Maybe the problem is with the image itself.
The way to find out is to try a different one. Also, is the image control on
the form large enough to display the picture you've selected?
