Please help me with turning off specific keyboard shortcuts in Wor

Hi all, I seem to be just going around and around in circles. My problem is:
when I press the shift key and the 2 key I get this " and when I press the
shift key and the ' key I get this @ symbol, which is really weird, they are
back to front. Someone please help me with this. RegardsHonesty

Nothing strange at all when you know that on the English UK keyboard layout,
the doublequote is shift+2 and the @ is Shift+' characters. On the US
keyboard, this is reversed. So check your keyboard setting in the Windows
Control Panel, Keyboard.

Thanks Terry, however my keyboard settings in Control Panel doesn't give me
this option, so now what do I do? :-( (PS I'm running Windows XP
2002)

Try: Control Panel\Regional and Language Options\Languge Tab\Details

Then change the default input language.
