I installed Office 2003 Professional as an Upgrade while I owned wished to
preserve my previous Office 2000 version. Now that the trial period has
expired, I can not restore my previous version.
This is absolutely a Microsoft problem, error or what ever you want to call
it. As a professional who relies 100% on my laptop for business use, this
has created two days of work lost while I try to resolve this problem. NOW I
find out that Microsoft has placed a KB article that states NOT to select
Upgrade or you must use your original CD's and unintall the trial and
Reistall the original!! This is OBSURD!! No one ever gets the CD's anymore
when purchasing a PC!! The software is Always preinstalled on the machine.
Does Anyone have another fix for this crisis situation caused by the Trial
software? Please Help!!
