My mom had purchased Microsoft Office XP Standard for Students and Teachers
to upgrade her PC but it crashed and she bought another one with XP home
edition already on it. She no longer has any use for this student//teacher XP
CD-Rom so she gave it to me. She didn't want to waste it because it was
expensive and I don't have Word on my laptop. I REALLY NEED WORD for my
laptop because of school. The Microsoft website for Help is EXTREMELY
confusing for me to find a simple answer to my question and I guess you can
only call or e-mail customer service twice before it costs you $35 for more.
lol I don't think I'll even remember how to get back to this forum. But my
main question is: What are the steps for me to, I guess, transfer that
product key from her old computer to my computer? Is that even possible? If
not, that's really screwed up and Microsoft truly is evil because it was
really expensive; I don't want to waste it. What should I do???? Please help!
